Northern Virginia is For Lovers

January 9, 2022

Deborah and Jeremy’s intimate wedding was the perfect way to kick off our 2021 season (yes, we’re a little late catching up on the blog!). This gorgeous Virginia wedding was better than we could have ever expected. How often does the weather work in a couple’s favor so much so that they get to move their March wedding outside after (rightfully) assuming it would need to be indoors?? Never. That never happens. But it did for Deborah and Jeremy at Belmont Country Club.

Just a quick note for anyone searching for a venue: Belmont Club was a dream to work with and shoot in. The events staff was coordinated, thoughtful, and intentional with every decision. Both getting ready suites were perfectly situated so the couple could enjoy the morning without fear of seeing each other. Each room of the property paid tribute its traditional architecture and decor, while letting light stream through from every direction. Truly a dream.

To set the tone for themselves, Deborah and Jeremy exchanged emotional, love-filled notes to each other early in the day. They opted out of doing a first look and instead chose to see each other for the first time as the bride’s father walked her down the aisle. It was an emotional moment and one we won’t soon forget.

Deborah wore a beautifully beaded Casablanca Bridal wedding dress and Jeremy dressed for the occasion in classic black fitted suit. Both elegant choices that suited their personalities.

The bride’s sister and groom’s brother gave toasts during a beautiful sunset and twilight hour – drawing on memories from their childhoods with a perfect balance of humor and sentiment.

To conclude the evening, the bride and groom, surrounded by their closest friends and family, cut into their wedding cake and revealed to the crowd that they were expecting a baby girl. The perfect end to a perfect, fairytale wedding.
